Sanpete County conducts elections by mail. Active registered voters receive a ballot approximately 3 weeks before each election.
Voters temporarily away from their registered address (such as students, missionaries, or seasonal residents) can request a ballot be mailed to a different location using an absentee ballot request.
Voter Registration Requirements
To register to vote in Sanpete County, you must:
  • ​Be a United States citizen
  • Be a Sanpete County resident for at least 30 days before Election Day
  • Live at the address where you are registering
Voters ages 16–17 may pre-register and will automatically receive a ballot when eligible.
